The PYIB is a resource for new recruits to the insurance industry or professionals with a few years of experience. PYIB is a resource for professional development, industry involvement and political action. The PYIB is made up of insurance professionals throughout Alberta, who are 39 and under.

Opportunities To Sit On PYIB Board
Several of our PYIB members have stepped up to sit on the PYIB board as a director or local council representative. The PYIB board helps design programs and events, and creates the foundation for the entire PYIB.
PYIB Also Involved With National Networks and Events
PYIB also works with the national association to promote all of the young broker networks across Canada as well as take part in national events such as Lobby Day in Ottawa, Ontario.

What The PYIB Can Do For You
The PYIB helps to create a better awareness of the insurance industry, improves confidence through communication, and creates a venue for industry peers to meet. We act as a liaison between young broker members and the provincial broker association regarding political involvement and the ongoing changes within our industry. We also help to tailor education to meet the needs of young brokers, get involved with communities at a grass-roots level to help strengthen the broker image, and provide a place for young brokers to voice their opinions and help shape the future of the broker industry.
